Bacon Wrapped Jalaeno Poppers

Ingredients:

  • 6 strips of bacon

  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp onion powder

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your pellet smoker to 375°F.

  2. Cut off the stem end of each jalapeno and slice in half lengthwise. Remove the seeds and membranes with a spoon.

  3. Fill each jalapeno half with the Cream cheese.

  4. Cut each bacon strip in half lengthwise. Wrap each jalapeno half with a half-strip of bacon and for best appearance secure with a toothpick.

  5. Place the bacon-wrapped jalapenos on the preheated pellet smoker.

  6. Smoke the jalapenos for 30-40 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the jalapenos are tender.

  7. Remove the jalapenos from the pellet smoker and let cool for a few minutes.

  8. Serve the bacon-wrapped jalapenos warm as an appetizer or snack.
