Chicken Parmesan

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 2 large eggs, beaten

  • 2 cups Italian breadcrumbs

  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 2 tbsp Beasley’s Poultry Powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil

  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce

  • 8 oz mozzarella cheese, sliced

  • Fresh basil leaves, for garnish

  • Add about 3 cups of oil in Large Skillet and turn it on Med heat,

  • Place flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs in separate shallow bowls.

  • In a small bowl, mix together Parmesan cheese, basil, oregano, garlic powder, and Beasley’s Poultry Powder..

  • Coat chicken breasts in flour, then dip into beaten eggs, and finally coat in breadcrumb mixture.

  • Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat. Cook chicken breasts until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.

  • Transfer chicken to prepared baking sheet. Spoon marinara sauce over each chicken breast and top with sliced mozzarella cheese.

  • Bake in preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until cheese is melted and chicken is cooked through.

  • Garnish with fresh basil leaves and serve with a side of pasta or garlic bread. Enjoy!
