1 cup all-purpose flour
2 large eggs, beaten
2 cups Italian breadcrumbs
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tbsp Beasley’s Poultry Powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper, to taste
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
8 oz mozzarella cheese, sliced
Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
Add about 3 cups of oil in Large Skillet and turn it on Med heat,
Place flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs in separate shallow bowls.
In a small bowl, mix together Parmesan cheese, basil, oregano, garlic powder, and Beasley’s Poultry Powder..
Coat chicken breasts in flour, then dip into beaten eggs, and finally coat in breadcrumb mixture.
Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat. Cook chicken breasts until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
Transfer chicken to prepared baking sheet. Spoon marinara sauce over each chicken breast and top with sliced mozzarella cheese.
Bake in preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until cheese is melted and chicken is cooked through.
Garnish with fresh basil leaves and serve with a side of pasta or garlic bread. Enjoy!
