Smoked Meatloaf


  • 2 lbs ground beef

  • 1 cup bread crumbs

  • 1 cup milk

  • 1 large egg

  • 1 medium onion, diced

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 2 tbsp Beasley’s Smoke Dust

  • 2 tbsp of Beasley’s BBQ Secret Blend

  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce


  1. Preheat your smoker to 225°F and soak your wood chips in water for 30 minutes.

  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, bread crumbs, milk, egg, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, Steak Dust, and BBQ Secret Blend. Mix well until fully combined.

  3. Shape the mixture into a loaf shape and place it on a rack set in a shallow roasting pan or place in loaf pan.

  4. Place the pan in the smoker and smoke for 2-3 hours, until the internal temperature of the meatloaf reaches 160°F.

  5. Brush the barbecue sauce over the top of the meatloaf and return it to the smoker for an additional 15-20 minutes, until the sauce has caramelized.

  6. Remove the meatloaf from the smoker and let it rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing and serving.
