In the bustling town of Kingwood, Texas, a serendipitous meeting at a church function sparked a friendship that would forever change the culinary landscape. Jason Krog, renowned for his smoked meats, was the go-to guy for weekly church group feasts. One day, Randy Beasley decided to join in, and a bond was forged over the shared love of perfectly smoked brisket, chicken, and sausage.

Months flew by, and their reputation for mouthwatering smoked meats spread like wildfire. Soon, they were asked to cater a church wedding, a challenge they eagerly accepted. As they set up the buffet line, they proudly watched guests fill their plates, exclaiming, “Best brisket ever!” Little did they know, their culinary creations were about to cause quite a commotion.

As the reception buzzed with excitement, Jason and Randy noticed something unusual. Guests were returning to the buffet, not for second helpings, but to pile their plates high with brisket, sneaking it past the pastor and out the front door! Amidst the chaos, they managed to save a few bags for the bride and groom before the brisket disappeared.

That unforgettable day marked the unofficial beginning of Beasley’s Smokehouse Rub. Jason and Randy realized they had created something extraordinary. It wasn’t until 2018 that their dream took shape. They founded Beasley’s Smokehouse Rub, sharing their secret blends with family, friends, and, eventually, the entire nation.

Life took its turn, and in 2022, Jason had to step away from the business for personal reasons. He remained an investor until January 2024, when tragedy struck. Randy Beasley passed away suddenly, leaving a void in the hearts of many. Beasley’s Smokehouse Rub closed its doors, and the outpouring of support from Randy’s family, friends, and loyal customers was overwhelming. Prayers, loving comments, and sticky notes under Beasley’s spices in stores were just a few of the heartfelt tributes.

But the story didn’t end there. On May 1, 2024, Jason reopened Beasley’s in Texas, determined to carry on Randy’s legacy. I continued the tradition of crafting the finest all-natural, no MSG, gluten-free spices on the market.

Today, Beasley’s Smokehouse Rub stands as a testament to the unwavering passion and expertise of Jason Krog and Randy Beasley. We absolutely LOVE Beasley's Smokehouse Rub! We met Randy doing shows and have fallen in love with all his spices and the man himself. He is such a wonderful guy and certainly knows how to spice up things. Our favorite is the BBQ Secret Blend. We put it on everything!
