Beasley's Smoked Turkey Breast

SMOKED TURKEY BREAST

Ingredients  
3 lb turkey Breast
1 stick butter, 3 tbsp butter

3 tbsp Beasley's (BBQ Secret Blend, Hatch Batch, Country Cajun, or Poultry Powder)

Directions:

  1. Melt 1 stick of butter.  Can be done in a pan or use the defrost setting on your microwave, stirring occasionally.

  2. Inject 1 stick butter into fully thawed turkey breast, ensuring the butter is evenly spread through the breast.

  3. Fully coat all sides of turkey breast with your favorite Beasley's Smokehouse Rub spice blend.

  4. Pre-heat smoker (or oven) to 300 degrees, and set breast on the smoker.

  5. Smoke for about an hour until center of turkey breast reaches a temp of 120 degrees.

  6. Make an aluminum foil boat large enough to hold the breast, set the breast in the boat top side down, and add 3 tbsp butter to the top.  Add additional seasoning, if desired.  

  7. Remove turkey breast from smoker when the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees, cover, and allow the turkey breast to rest for at least 10 minutes.

  8. Slice and serve!  Use the captured juices to drizzle over the slices.
